Our Story
A dream once envisioned by Late Mrs. Mahashweta Ray in the year 2008 and brought to reality by her younger sister & Founder of the Brand, Smt. Madhumita Roy in loving memory of her elder sister, whose love for handloom sarees was boundless throughout her life.
For Mrs. Roy, a Bengali by birth and an artist at heart, sarees have always been more than an attire; they are a living canvas of heritage, culture, and craftsmanship. Having spent a decade in Banaras and a lifetime cherishing the magic of handlooms, she chose her post-retirement years not for leisure, but for the purpose of creating a brand that honors artisans, revives lost weaves, and brings the artistry of India’s looms to women across the world.
